Arrival in Kiel and builders promise to complete handover on April 29th

Have just arrived in Kiel, Germany from New Zealand. Unfortunately whether building a house or boat its unlikely it will be completed on time. Originally I requested the boat for mid March but it's now promised for April 29, 2017 which is a "drop dead" date if I am to make Newport, Rhode Island on May 29th in time to qualify for the solo race Newport to Bermuda starting on June 2nd. My fingers are crossed. Also in addition to making it to Newport, I am required to do a solo 30 hour sail - again before the 29th.

It's early in the season to make a North Atlantic crossing but I will be assisted by two or three experienced sailors so all should be well.
